Sickening advice concerning incest

Ok, I got this book with high expectations. I could not even get past chapter 3 where she adresses mothers. According to this author a mother is responsible to "protect" her little girls from being molested by daddy by making sure that the daughter dresses modestly lest daddy be tempted and make sure that the little girl does not sit in daddys lap between daddy's legs. Seriously? Even my husband was sickened and disgusted by this kind of rhetoric. This in NO way helps any woman know how to deal with real incest going on in your home. Good God! Incest is wickedness and in NO way should be over looked or tolerated for one minute. If a man is going to lust for his daughters no amount of "covering up" or "not sitting on daddy's lap" is going to stop him!!!

Then she proceeds to admonish women to be sure and never gain weight, lose your tempter, be completely submissive, docile, polite, sweet, kind...you get the picture...at all times and in every situation. No such admonishment is given to the husband. The mother/wife according to this author is responsible for the spiritual life of the family. Oh yeah, and don't forget to dress up sexy and be always sexually available to your man, that too will be a deterrent from him running after your daughters! Gah! WRONG! What about a husbands sexual responsibility toward his wife? She sort of skipped that!

Also, what about a husband who is homosexual or molesting boys? Is a wife responsible for that sin too?

I won't be finishing this book.

"Doctor" Iris Delgado? With a Doctorate from 'Vision International University'? I could be a Doctor as well if I only had to take five courses and write some twenty page papers. Check out those sweet qualifications for a "Doctorate of Ministry"! I seriously chose the wrong field, but at least I found an accredited one! Vision University (if the link works): [...]

This follow-up makes the old saying "if it wasn't for bad luck she would have no luck". This poor girl thinks she's home free, finding her biological father, brother and mother only to think she's lost them again. How many times can this girl be drug thru hell!

Good story but tied up too pretty to be realistic

I read all three book in a day and I liked the premise and she was very authentic for Jane. I did think that the ending seemed a little too tidy and wrapped up. I mean Dominick tortured her for a time and he explains that he hated her for a while. I undertand forgiving them, but now it's like their this big happy family, and I didn't get the Justin and Josh loving her. Dominick I get it was clear. But on the whole, the insane reality of sex trafficking was portrayed very accurately. These readers want to believe that someone couldn't endure this but it is happening everyday in every city. Wake up.

I stumbled upon this third book, not realizing it was available. I fell right back into Jane's spiral into her living hell. The energy and excitement of this final book was so good, I finished this book in no time.
I kind of wish it wouldn't end!
